    • I'm designing my small garden space (about 4 feet by 8 feet) and patio garden (15 pots) for lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, basil, peas, beans, tomatillos, and several peppers. Success will depend on this year's weather and whether or not I travel.  I planted 50 seedlings 3/18/12!
  6. Can 30 pints of veggies
  7. Master the making of 3 different types of cheeses

  8. Try 30 different ciders or gluten free beers or meads, including home brews

    • This is so I look good in my bridesmaid dress!  (And so I'm not such a wuss!)
  16. Pay $30 for a Denver Voice from my favorite homeless man
    • I swear I haven't had cash on me since writing this.  
  17. Donate blood
    • Tried several times earlier in life.  I was always anemic or couldn't fill a bag.  
  18. Master making gluten free ravioli from scratch
    • I have a pasta maker on my Kitchen Aid Mixer, but without gluten, it is really hard!
  19. Compost
    • Bought a small compost bin and green bags at McGuckins Hardware, on sale.  I have been composting ever since!  Coffee grounds, veggie seeds, egg shells, lime wedges...  We finally have a city compost bin near our garbage can area, but our gardening group is working on getting one in our garden as well, that way we can benefit from it more directly.  Composting helps keep methane production in landfills low.  Methane is a powerful greenhouse gas.  
  20. Finish a quilting project.  
    • Nope, but I made two skirts. 
  21. Bike 30 miles-- getting my car stolen really helped on this one!  4 miles a day for a few weeks!
  22. Write 30 unique blog posts
  23. Learn to knit and knit a blanket
    • My friend taught me how to knit!  I'm still on my practice scarf, which is yellow and beautiful.  I just got yarn for a blanket for our living room!
  24. Play in a softball game or sing Karaoke, two things that make me very, very nervous
  25. Take 3 camping trips and learn how to use the camping stoves

Yes! I look forward to the day that I complete my first... although I've got a good start on quite a few of them!
